Mentorship Opportunities
Mentoring is a great way for students to learn from senior evaluators who have a wealth of experience in the field of evaluation and for senior evaluators to pass on their knowledge and skills.
In this evolving relationship, the mentor provides a more junior mentee with career-related (e.g. supporting career progress, providing feedback, promoting visibility, etc.) and psychosocial (e.g. friendship, counselling, role-modelling) support.
The mentor also provides support, advice and guidance, helping the mentee build confidence to develop the skills required to succeed professionally.
Individual evaluators interested in becoming a mentor or a mentee can go to www.evaluationmentoringcanada.ca to register, and search, for individual mentoring opportunities.
